The Cumbre ProjectP4B tire is a fast-rolling cross-country (XC) option. Proceeds from the purchase of this tire are donated to People for Bikes to fund their Community Grants Program, supporting local bicycle infrastructure projects. This tire's packaging utilizes recycled materials and can be recycled when no longer in use, reducing its environmental impact.

This tubeless-ready tire features a 60 TPI (threads per inch) folding bead construction and a 120 TPI casing, providing a durable yet supple ride. The Rubberforce G tread compound offers reliable grip. The Stage XC Armor single-layer casing construction further enhances flat protection when used in combination with tubeless-specific sealants. The tire can also be used with inner tubes.

The Cumbre tire is available in a 29x2.25" (57-622) size. Its weight is 760g. The recommended internal rim width range is 19-31mm, with an optimal width of 25mm.

On hook bead rims (TC/TT), the maximum air pressure is 50 PSI. On hookless rims (TSS), the maximum pressure is 36 PSI, as set by ISO-TC31-SC10 standards.

Tubeless-ready tires are generally lighter and more supple than traditional tubeless tires, but they require the use of tubeless sealants to properly seal and retain air pressure.

Tire size may not always match the listed dimensions, as the tire's width is designed for rims with a 25mm internal diameter. Using a narrower rim will result in a narrower tire, while a wider rim will make the tire measure broader.

American Classic's mountain bike tire sizes follow current global standards set by E.T.R.T.O. This may require users to adjust their installation process compared to previous standards.

As long as the rims meet the current ETRTO/ISO standards for SS/TSS (Straight Sidewall/Tubeless Straight Sidewall) rims, and the tire is mounted as part of a tubeless system, this tire can be used on hookless rims, with a maximum air pressure of 36 PSI.

The Cumbre tire can also be used with an inner tube, as long as it is mounted on a rim that meets the latest global standards, has properly set up rim tape, and the correct size inner tube is used.
