The Lamplighter is our modern E-bike and city performance tire designed to get you anywhere with ease, thanks to its Rubberforce R compound that balances speed, traction, and reliability.

The Stage 7 Armor construction combines durable 60tpi casing with American Classic's ultimate puncture protection, including 3mm of highly elastic rubber undertread and our supple Nylon105 belt, to provide durable and long-lasting performance. Rubberforce R is designed for American Classic urban commuter and e-bike tires, optimized for grip and rolling efficiency with maximum puncture resistance and tread life.

Since 1982, American Classic has been leveraging our expertise with unique manufacturing systems and emerging technologies to provide premium quality products for your bicycle. Our tires follow the latest global industry standard for size and fitment, intended to be mounted on rims that follow those same standards. Mounting our standards-based tires on oversized rims will require greater effort than mounting to industry-standard rims.

The Lamplighter is available in tube-type construction and requires an inner tube. It is designed for Everyday, Urban Performance, with Stage 7 Armor Construction, Rubberforce R Tread Compound, and Black Sidewall. The tire sizes offered are 700x40C, 700x50C, and 650Bx47, with varying weights, maximum pressures, and compatible internal rim widths.
