The Terestre XC mountain bike tire from American Classic is designed for hardpack and rocky trails, offering a versatile and responsive ride across various terrain. This tire features alternating center tread for speed and traction, shoulder blocks that aid in cornering and braking, and unique siping across all the knobs to ensure predictable handling.

The tire's construction includes the Stage XC Armor, a cross country (XC) specific combination of a 120 TPI casing and a 'skin' for a lightweight and supple ride. The Rubberforce G is a specially-tuned rubber compound engineered for dependable grip on mixed terrain and daily adventures.

The Terestre is a Tubeless Ready tire, providing the ultimate combination of speed, comfort, and flat protection when combined with tubeless-specific sealants. The tire sizes meet current global standards set by ETRTO, with the 2.25-inch (57mm) tires designed for rims with a 25mm internal width, and the 2.4-inch (61mm) and 2.5-inch (64mm) tires designed for 30mm internal width rims.

American Classic tires follow the current dimensions set by ETRTO and ISO 5775, improving rider safety through functional pairing of tires and rims that both meet these standards. The resulting tighter tolerances also lead to a tighter fit on rims, which may require some users to change their installation process from what they used with tires and rims that followed previous standards.

The available size for the Terestre XC tire is 29x2.25 (57-622), with a weight of 745g. The tire can be used with an inner tube as long as it is mounted on a rim that meets the latest global standards, has properly set up rim tape, and is used with the correct size inner tube. The maximum air pressure is 50 PSI on hook bead rims (TC/TT) and 36.3 PSI on hookless rims (TSS).

The packaging for the Terestre tire is made from 90% post-consumer recycled materials and is recyclable after removing the label.
