His passion for creating superior, lightweight products inspired him to start experimenting in his garage, engineering his own aluminum bicycles and components. As demand grew, partnerships were formed with the finest production facilities in Taiwan. This eventually led to our own factory, giving us full control over all aspects of production from prototype to manufacturing.

American Classic tires feature premium fabrics and signature compounds engineered for long tread life and low rolling resistance. The Aggregate is the optimal all-around tire for paved, hardpack, and light gravel terrain. Its evenly spaced, hexagonal knobs speed over smoother surfaces with minimal vibration, while providing predictable handling over looser conditions. This is combined with our Rubberforce G tread compounds, which offer impressive grip in the dirt. The new Stage 5S Armor construction provides supreme ride quality and abrasion resistance.

The Aggregate is Tubeless Ready when used with liquid tubeless sealant, and is also compatible with traditional inner tubes. It is designed for compatibility with both hookbead and hookless rims that meet ETRTO standards. Available in black, tan, or brown sidewall options, the tire features a supple 120 TPI casing and gravel-specific Rubberforce G compounds.

Our Stage 5S Armor construction combines 120 TPI casing fabrics, Rubberforce G tread compounds, a tubeless ready coating, and a Nylon105 bead-to-bead fabric. This results in a tire that is lighter, faster, and more cut, tear, and abrasion resistant than our original Stage 5S Flat Protection.

Rubberforce G is a family of tread compounds designed specifically for American Classic gravel tires. The high structure and high specific surface area of the carbon black provide excellent abrasion resistance, tensile strength, and cut/tear resistance for off-road adventures. The final compounds are tailored to the intended riding characteristics of each tire model.
